CoSTAR Realtime Lab Launch Film
We were commissioned to produce the live-action visuals for the launch film, marking the opening of CoSTAR Realtime Lab—a major new research and development facility for virtual production based in Dundee.
Our work helped ground the film in real Scottish landscapes, setting the tone for a facility that merges tradition with cutting-edge production technologies.
The visuals formed the backbone of the launch piece and were screened at the opening event as part of the national CoSTAR rollout.
The film was envisioned as a bold, cinematic announcement.
Our role was to capture a stylised journey through the Scottish Highlands, following a motorcyclist en route to the new studio.
Shot on location across rural and urban Scotland, the footage combined scale, atmosphere and narrative momentum - culminating in the motorbike's arrival at the Realtime Lab itself.
